Salsa the Cat loves living with her Kiwi family. With food, cuddles, and catnip, Salsa couldn’t ask for anything more.

When cat aliens from space activate the laser eyes gene inside each earth kitty, Salsa finds herself fighting the urge to brutally murder her beloved family. Struggling to harness her powers for good, Salsa rallies the local cats to form a resistance group. But with over a million cats in New Zealand alone, Salsa and The Battle Cats must fight tooth and claw to save the people of the world.

FELINES: THE AWAKENING is a tale of one little cat leading a rebellion against alien ancestors in order to save her family, stop the war, and get back to her warm spot in the sun.
