GIRLIE at the RugbyWorldCup

A “yay we won the rwc” FILM
WRITTEN BY Jennifer Wappler

In the genre of our recent new Zealand hit movie called “boy” I would like to make a movie about a new Zealand “girlie” chosen as a ball person at the final game. About her and her family and the highs and lows of growing up a girlie in new Zealand.
I got this idea when I had just finished watching a news reel about the boys and girls chosen to be the ball persons at the rwc games and the reporter was interviewing a very cute little typical new Zealand girl with long plaits and pink cheeks, clutching her rugby ball, looking all hot and grubby from running around a lot playing rugby with her freinds. A group of boys all awkward and googly knees, leaning on each other, were also asked for their opinion on her being chosen, and they were so cute when they whole heartedly endorsed her being chosen. Nodding their heads vigourously and agreeing with the reporter that she was a whole lot better at rugby than they were.
What a great movie it could be, using the rwc as backdrop (existing footage) and then also showcasing new Zealand as a tourist attraction by bringing in a bit of tourist humour too. (sorry, but I just cannot think of anything that does not include the rwc just now) AND WHAT IF THE AllBlacks WIN
