Repeating Reprisals

A “Felsted Films” FILM
WRITTEN BY Ben McCracken

The bereaved father with nothing to lose, the absentee mother with everything to prove. The young man that came between them, and the aging cop out to settle a score. You think you’ve seen this story before.

You haven’t.

You meet someone and it’s like they come into existence in that moment. It’s easy to forget they’ve lived an entire life up until that point. It’s even easier to forget that almost everyone who will be of significance to you and your life is somewhere out there right at this moment -- even though you’ve never met.

Whether it’s your future best friend, the love of your life, or even the man who will one day kill you, that person is out there right now. And every single decision you make is bringing you closer and closer to that person.

For better or worse.

This is the story of three men and a woman. Their lives before their meeting, their lives after, and the fateful event that will finally show these once unrelated people the inexorable links that join them together.

This isn’t the revenge story you’ve seen before.

This is Retribution. This is Reckoning. This is Repeating Reprisals.

*Repeating Reprisals was named as one the Top 20 screenplays from more than 3,500 entries in the 2009 Final Draft Big Break Competition.
