Samuel Cort is a legend amongst vampire hunters, and vampires all over the world. He has lived longer than most, and killed more than any other hunter alive or dead. He comes from a long family line of hunters and has come home to New Zealand, with a team of five highly trained, military style hunters, to train his thirteen year old son, Dylan. When he gets home he finds his wife dead and his son missing. There is a recorded video message left for him, by a group of vampires called, The Colony. They intend to kill the famous Samuel Cort.

Samuel has three days to rescue his son before they are going to turn Dylan into a vampire. He knows it is a suicide mission and that his son is the bait. Samuel plans to save his son, even if it kills him. With the help of his team, he begins to hunt the city for, the Colony. Will he ever see his son Dylan again? Is his son even alive? Have they already turned him into a vampire? One thing he knows. He’s going to kill anything that gets in his way from finding out, and right now that‘s, The Colony.
