Success does not come to you, you go to it. Actress Phoebe McNair has lived by these words all her life, but her big break is yet to arrive.
Phoebe manages to achieve a job as a PA for actress Miriam Hester. Phoebe takes her new job by the horns and works hard for Miriam consistently going above and beyond the call of duty to provide for and clean up after her star. She finds that her new role has opened up many new opportunities to auditions for big movie roles. Phoebe makes excuses to get out of work with Miriam so she can attend them.

After still no luck finding that that life changing role Phoebe can’t understand what is wrong with her, until she finds clues leading her to believe that her loyal employer has been paying off the casting directors, stopping Phoebe from achieving her dreams.
