The Chippenfails

A “Scared Shirtless” FILM
WRITTEN BY Alan Cornish

Jake's dream is to become the most successful erotic dancer the world has ever seen. Problem being, the closest he's ever come to stripping success was back with his group: White Chocolate... in Pakuranga... 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the years have not been kind to Jake, but while his looks may have faded, his self belief has not; Jake for the life of him still can't understand why he's not a star. Maybe it was bad management, it could have been his tough relationship break up, but probably... "New Zealand just wasn't ready for them" Whatever it was, they just could not get it together and break through to the big time. Now two decades on, Jake works as a bus driver in Auckland but he still holds on to his dreams of stardom. Unfortunately for Jake the other members of White Chocolate have long since moved on. But when Jake hears about a stripping competition down south he decides to try and reform the group for one last shot at fame and fortune. With his nephew's student documentary crew in tow filming each excruciating moment, can he lead White Chocolate on tour to win the competition, recapture the magic, and convince the world that they've been missing out on something truly sweet? It's their last chance and whatever happens its going to be a wild ride. For the love of their dreams. For the love of stripping. For the love of God.
