Marks not so legal job as a manager of a Wellington P Lab seemed like the coolest job in the world. That was until he received a tip off that the boss is planning an unexpected visit. Now Mark’s hedonistic lifestyle may have some unintended life-threatening consequences. Mark doesn't want to have to explain the cooks three day absence, missing ingredients or late deliveries. Can Mark answer why his best friend Pete is living in the lab, along with an unnamed junkie who has been hanging out on the couch for the last week. Frantic and on edge, Mark has to clean up his act before his boss arrives. The Lab is a crime thriller showing the brutal conflict between the pleasures filled lifestyle of young drug dealers and the economic realities of organized crime.
