And that's how Mary died

Susan's father used to tell her bedtime stories. Now he's long dead, but the stories remain. And they're getting darker.

A “Peter Ravlich & Lisa Wong Ravlich” FILM
WRITTEN BY Peter Ravlich

Susan has struggled with insomnia since she was a little girl, thanks to her father's gruesome bedtime stories. Years later, she thinks she has put the memories to rest. But they are just waking up.

On losing her high-powered job to redundancy, Susan returns to her abandoned family home in the Waikato and tries to find herself. What she finds instead is a series of baffling and disturbing events that challenge her sanity and force her to explore the repressed horrors of her past.

What do you do when you discover that your childhood fears have grown up with you?
