In the not-so-distant future, science and technology finally have a break-through concerning paranormal activity. Two scientists from Langley Virginia have developed a machine that emits a radio wave on a frequency so high, that it alters the physical form of certain energy sources.

Tim Saunders and Brian Coves are professional ghost hunters. Their invention could prove the actual existence of spirits in our living realm. In the sleepy little town of Blackball New Zealand, Liz, has been seeing two apparitions in her home for a few nights now. She is not scared, and in fact finds comfort in their presence. She knows that she is not long for this world, and decides to share her find with her Granddaughter Jade. Just like clockwork, to faint apparitions appear.

Several weeks later, Liz’s time has finally come and she passes away peacefully in her sleep. Jade is heartbroken. Liz was more like a mother to her (as Jade’s actual mother died long ago). Grief stricken, Jade emails Tim and Brian on their website. She is now certain that she will be able to converse with her Grandmother from beyond.

Sitting in Liz’s lounge a few days after the funeral, Jade Lights her Grandmothers pipe at precisely 9:30. Sure enough the apparitions appear. There are now three of them. She picks up her video camera and records the scene in the hallway which she sends to Langley Virginia. Tim and Brian agree to fly to New Zealand and have a first hand look and discover there’s something far more sinister about her grandmothers past than she ever guessed
