A “Boo-urns” FILM

South Auckland friends and underground rappers Damian and Stan think they’ve landed the deal of a lifetime when they’re snapped up by a major hip hop label. However, their friendship falls apart as a morally bankrupt record exec manufactures a rivalry between the two for publicity purposes, which sends the rappers’ respective “beef” tracks to the top of the charts.

When Damian and Stan are both shot at in attempted hits, all signs suggest each other is to blame. But when they realise a record exec is trying to kill them both to increase album sales, the former friends must work together to thwart the murderous maniac.

A hip hop-infused dark comedy/horror.
