Count to twenty

A “Eclipse Pictures, Dec32 media” FILM
WRITTEN BY Rus Makeev, Felipe Moreno

Anthony Vesla a 32 year old, husband and successful marketing executive begins to search for questions in his everyday life. This route of questioning offers him an escape from the realities of his artificial existence.
His successful wife Agnes who works from home selling sexually aesthetic furniture has been hiding secrets from him since they first met. His condescending friends who mock him as though he is still in high school and the colleagues at work whisper secrets behind his back. Anthony's depression begins to cause him chest pains and nausea until one day at a work party he crashes head first into the toilet seat.
Upon leaving the hospital he encounters the sign he was waiting for. A little note saying: “Count to Twenty”. As he begins saying this to himself he changes the very fabric of his existence and his journey of discovery takes off.
He meets strangers who show him the reality of his life. In this road of laughter and sorrow he crosses paths with the most unlikely of friends and foes. Anthony’s house burns down, he goes in a night of hallucinogenics and he trips to the beat of the sounds of a disillusioned prophet in downtown`s train station. Meets the rich life of the homeless and the boss of an underground criminal syndicate are all propelled towards him. Events that occur start transforming Anthony in the way he sees himself and those around him. The clouds dissipate and he sees the world with a new set of eyes.
Will he be prepared to accept that not all the questions have answers that he seeks?
