Dead Force

Joe is a convicted killer, sentenced to death. He says goodbye to his wife, is brought into the execution room, strapped down and given his lethal injection, as the executioner says “May God have mercy on your soul.” He closes his eyes and is gone.

Joe wakes up in a white room, a stony faced military Commander stands over him. ‘You’re already dead.” He says, “You’re body just don’t know it yet.” The man offers him a deal, join a secret group of mercenaries called the Dead Force to fight injustice and right wrongs, say no and he is dead. He is being offered only a chance to do some good before he meets his maker. He will have no life outside of Dead Force and he will never win his freedom or be able to graduate to anything more. The only carrot for those in Dead Force is redemption, so that when die, and with this sort of work it won’t be long, there is a chance that God may have mercy. Joe accepts.

Fitted with an explosive device with a remote detonator, if he becomes a liability they will kill him, thus ending his one chance. All members of the force it seems have been offered the same deal, and have been chosen for their unique skills that will help the group. Joe is given SAS style training and sent into missions like freeing hostages from pirates or tracking and bringing down dangerous gangs.

But when on a mission to bring down a terror cell Joe finds himself aiming to kill the one person he ever cared about, his wife. Now he must find a way to save her and protect her from the Dead Force without being killed either by remote detonation or military strike.
