A “e.g. productions” FILM
WRITTEN BY elwyn brown

On a distant planet war rages, as preparations have begun for earth’s eventual migration. A live broadcast by first time war correspondent Hal follows two Snipers deep into the jungle as they are ordered by a platoon commander to check out an isolated outpost. Hoping for a good story, Hal follows the Snipers as they discover that the outpost has been deserted. Out of communication with command satellites, the snipers choose to ask local alien villages for directions. Filming everything he can, Hal accidentally catches an Alien removing its mask; the Alien seem almost human. Surprised by the Alien’s appearance and gentle demeanor, Hal begins to ask question the legitimacy of the war on the so called “alien menace”. Hal blindly follows the snipers deeper into the jungle as they approach the communication dead zone. The snipers find a hallucinogenic fungus growing in the jungle and force Hal to eat it. Tripping, Hal wonders if he has made a mistake by coming to this unknown war zone; surely no story is worth this danger.
Hal’s hallucinogenic trip gets worse as the trigger happy stoned snipers shoot the Alien Wildlife for sport. Disillusioned, Hal walks into the jungle alone, following the sounds of explosions in the distance. Hal comes across the shocking aftermath of an air strike on a group of Alien Refugees. In an effort to do something selfless, Hal tries to help the only survivors, a beautiful Young Alien Woman and her Mother. Inspired, Hal convinces the Snipers to bring the refugees along with them. However, loyalty is put to the test when the Snipers find their missing platoon commander and his men massacred in a remote valley. Who or what killed the soldiers?
The combat heats up as Hal tries to document a war he doesn’t understand.
