Dream World

A “An Affectivision Film” FILM
WRITTEN BY written by Katelyn Davenport, assisted/merged with Tame, guardian...

Mya hated her life. There was nothing interesting about it. First would come breakfast, then school, dinner, homework. But… then came bed. The only time Mya was happy was when she was asleep. That was the only time she smiled. At school, Mya would get told off in class for day dreaming. Mya believes that when you go to sleep at night, you must think hard about what you want to dream about…then… when you have the dream in your head, act as if you are dreaming. Soon, you would really be dreaming, instead of thinking… Understand? Well… that’s how it worked for Mya. Her favourite dreams were sailing & flying. Sometimes, she would feel a fresh breeze of etherealness in her hair, & that was to die for… or sometimes just the simple splash of surreal spray on her face, made her laugh. Sometimes, she dreamed she was in a magical kingdom, & she would have banquets… When she was little, she thought someone came into her room each night & put tasty food in her mouth… As she got older, she realized it was her imagination, or dreaming - she wasn’t sure which… Mornings were the times she hated the most, when her Aunt Megan came into her room & woke her.

After getting into a fight with her Aunt about what really happened to her mother, she runs & runs right into the magical enchanting world, & never looks back. Her adventures are never ending - she is living the dream. She doesn’t realise she is on life-support, after the fall… Her Aunt is being pressured to give permission to turn the life-support off, but a Doctor doing research, believes there could be a way to stimulate brain activity again - the doctors are divided…
