A normal, movie loving student, Frank, is being mocked by his friend, who bets him that he couldn't spend a week pretending to do something annoying, like insisting that he is in a movie, a different one each day. The genres vary from action to comedy to romantic comedy. He follows through, refusing to stop, despite many protests. This eventually leads to his ostracism and being dumped by his girlfriend. He is forced to make a choice between his pride or his relationship. Frank was brought up that you always keep any promise you make, no matter what. Can he abandon this belief just because people are annoyed? Frank is a teenager. Like any other, and even small things can seem momentous at school. Frank eventually manages to sort his life out, despite some hilarious misadventures, regaining his girlfriend, but ultimately losing a friend.
