Seth Harbinger is the world’s most useless lawyer. He’s never won a trial, the bills are piling up and his last client just gave him the flick. Things are looking pretty grim - until he agrees to take a job for some rotten characters.

Seth always said he’d never do business with gangsters - let alone gangsters who’ve been sleeping with the fishes since the 1930s. But times are desperate, and they’re paying cash. Besides, all they want him to do is help a woman with a little legal problem. Something about a death certificate. Her death certificate.

Before long, Seth’s become a target for rival gangs, suspicious cops and maybe something even more grave.

If he had any sense, he’d probably get out now... but he thinks he might be falling for a certain femme fatale.

After all, she’s looking pretty damn good for someone Legally Dead.
