2051. Over the last 37 years, following irreversible damage to the ozone layer, UV rays have left the population blind. One company, Zenitech, has made it possible for people to see again. Using microchips, people are able to directly download images from surveillance cameras, which have been installed in every conceivable location. Babies are chipped at birth to ensure they never have to learn to navigate the world without sight.
Winston Brown, researching the Zenitech archives, stumbles on a document that suggests not everything he sees is real. He becomes convinced that his friends, family are seeing him with new eyes and his life and career begins to crumble. Threatened with being locked up for being delusional, Winston escapes into the slums of the city, where there are no cameras. Here, Winston must uncover the truth about Zenitech and learn that in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man won’t always be king.
