Nigel is a failed music producer, 32 and broke he reluctantly gets a real job working as a prison gaurd. Inadvertently Nigel makes several discoveries on the job and in time assembles a prison band and begins grooming thier success. Using his i phone Nigel makes recordings posting them to social networking sites igniting a phenomenon. Their fame escapes prison walls as they become worldwide social media darlings. The public are divided, is this rehabilitation or reward? Are prisoners allowed to be celebraties? Intially embarrassed by the publicity the prison's warden fires Nigel and disbands the group. Worlwide interest grows, music deals follow, sponsorship offers flood in. Eventually the warden decides to exploit the band to line his own pockets and fund his own venture to build an entirly new non state funded prison. The band's future is both volatile and uncertain. Soon to be released, the lead singer wishes to remain in prison and not split the band, while fans commit crimes in the hope of recieving an autograph. Culminating in a tale of redemption and hope. One thing is certain, this jail house rocks...
