“January 2013:

The government passed an unprecedented law, making baldness illegal.
Any citizen found to have substantial hair loss was arrested on site and condemned to a life in jail. And any persons caught concealing and/or aiding the bald also faced imprisonment. Bald people soon found ways to camouflage themselves to escape arrest. But a life under such circumstances, without the help of friends and family, is fraught with difficulties.

June 2014:
The government inexplicably closed off and forbade public access to several thousand hectares of one the country’s biggest natural reserves. Since then there has been a rumour that within those woods lies a place where the bald can live freely and without fear of prosecution. Some have chosen to believe this rumor, and, driven by desperation, a few have ventured into this forbidden territory. None of them have ever returned.”

Our story follows John, a wigless bald man, pushed to the limit. He must find the place known as the Baldlands before the Hair Patrol gets him. But in a world where bald people are being exterminated, his only hope is to trust other bald men. But can they be trusted? The Baldlands, a psychological thriller that will make you prematurely bald overnight!
