The Gospel According To Jerome

A “Emotional Turtle Productions” FILM
WRITTEN BY Adam Goodall

A promising Third-Level Adjunct in the Brotherhood of the Prism, Jerome Argyle is a model parishioner, serving his church with unmatched dignity and zeal. Looking to expand their New Zealand operations, the Brotherhood’s hierarchs select Jerome for a vital mission – he must buy up the tiny, poor town of Mahaki in preparation for the development of a new HQ, a grand national Mecca for the Brotherhood's ever-growing congregation.

Leaping at the offer, the naïve Jerome arrives in Mahaki only to discover that the townsfolk aren’t the quaint and ignorant farmers he thought they would be – rather, they’re angry, offensive, and none too willing to hear the word of the Prophet Wilbur. Faced with an increasingly tight deadline and a rapidly narrowing list of options, Jerome’s desperation grows and his pious exterior unravels, forcing him to answer the ultimate question – how far is he willing to go in the name of his faith?
