The Immune

A “Not Too Shabby Productions” FILM
WRITTEN BY Kathleen Collins

5 years ago, the world was ravaged by disease.

The survivors have started to rebuild, but it is a bleak world without law or protection. All lines of communication have broken down. Resources are scarce, and two rival factions fight for control of the roads – the Crusaders, and the Mob.

Atom is a hardened loner who cares only for her own survival. She works as a hauler for the Mob in return for protection. But everything changes when she is asked to transport a strange young girl through the heart of Crusader territory – to Iron City.

Breaking her policy of “no live cargo”, Atom reluctantly agrees to take the girl. The pair travel through broken towns, filled with cold and suspicious survivors. It isn’t long before the Crusaders take issue with the strange duo, and soon Atom realises that even the Mob’s protection isn’t assured. Getting the child to Iron City is her only chance to escape - yet neither of them know what awaits the child at her destination.

Forced to become allies, Atom and the child build a slow bond as they try to outrun their pursuers.

The roads seem empty, but the next vehicle could bring their salvation – or destruction.
