The Nav Man

A “Mohawk Media” FILM
WRITTEN BY Peter Griffin

When Pam Greene and her two angelic children are lost in a once-in-a-hundred-year
blizzard on a Central Otago road, she blames it on the faulty sat-nav system she was using to guide her way down rural South Island roads.

As Pam’s hero-mum status grows, the staff at iGo Inc. are thrown into turmoil as they fight a public backlash against their sat nav. The answer? Restore faith in the system by
digitally re-mapping every road in the country.

iGo founder Nick Fisher sends his nephew and chief software programmer Abel out on an epic journey that will take him and his unreliable sidekick Willy down literally every road, highway and country lane there is.

But it's far from plain sailing as Abel and Willy race the clock to save the company, battle
breakdowns and murderous hitch hikers, rivals intent on industrial sabotage and their hatred
of each other.

The frantic road trip takes a turn for the surreal when Abel finds himself looking for his
estranged girlfriend who has joined a cultish church group on a secluded King Countrty farm.

And Abel must face his biggest challenge at all - return to his home town of Cromwell, the place
he vowed never to re-visit, and face the demons that tore apart his youth all those years ago...
