In a small rural town,Rowan a young Maori girl is restless,Her grandmother has tried everything to keep her from running away but this time rowans gone too far shes been caught trespassing, But not by a farmer or land owner no...something much worse.

Rowans Grandmother is the town healer a sort of medium,and when she is visited in a dream by those she fears most telling her that her grand daughter had trespassed into there land a sort of limbo,in between life and death they tell her that she is there's to take and that they do not suffer trespassers. She frantically wakes only to find rowan gone.Had she run away or have the Patu Paihere already claimed her.
