Brains?

Monstrous humans terrorize a peaceful zombie neighbourhood. An almost brainless zombie must outsmart them to save his wife and zombie-kind itself... and hopefully, finally get some brains to eat.

A “Giles McNeill” FILM
WRITTEN BY Giles McNeill

Henderson is a typical zombie. He lives with his beautiful, rotting wife Cynthia in a nice, sleepy suburban neighbourhood. He goes to work every day in an office, where he mashes the keyboard of a long-dead computer and pushes the button on a photocopy machine for no appreciable result, except his own job satisfaction. His hobbies include standing in queues for no particular reason, staring at shiny things and talking about, thinking about and wishing he had brains (to eat, of course). On the whole, he's pretty content, except for a horrifying recurring nightmare in which he is a human.
One day rumours spring up that humans have been seen in nearby areas. Stories spread of how they lure zombies to their doom with the irresistible promise of brains and the terrible fates that befall them. Sure enough, one horrific night, humans begin attacking the community. Their delicious brain-odours overwhelm the zombies, who are powerless to resist. They stagger, unwittingly in to the hands of the humans who kill many and kidnap a few, including Cynthia.
Devastated by Cynthia's kidnapping, Henderson tries to rally his friends to form a rescue pack, but the other zombies fall back in to their old routines, and prefer to try to go on with their old lives. Alone, Henderson strikes out for the dreaded 'human place', where Cynthia has no doubt been taken. He must try to rescue her before she suffers some awful fate, unaware that she already has. Along the way he must uncover the unsettling truth behind his nightmares, grapple with the human world, face a plot to destroy zombie kind, explore the nature of love, overcome his own insatiable lust for brains and be more than a zombie has ever been before.
