Devil’s Fate

When an outdoor horror attraction turns deadly a group of youths are left fighting for their own survival. Every turn made must be calculated as one wrong decision could see them facing a torturous death sentence.

A “Sally Green” FILM
WRITTEN BY Sally Green

Lose your head, left. Have them close on your tail, right. When your life comes down to a gamble you want to make the correct turn, first time, every time.
Devil’s Fate is a horror maze attraction located in the dense forest of rural West Auckland and is the destination for a group of friends looking for a thrill. On their journey to the maze, the group joke about the attraction being the perfect place for murderous sociopaths to unleash their darkest desires on unsuspecting victims. Many jokes have some form of truth and unfortunately for the naive youths, they find themselves steering into their very own creative role play in all its freakish horror. Hieu, the keen film student of the group, decides to take his camera along with him. Little does he know that the footage he is about to capture will become the most haunting form of torture the mind could ever endure.
It’s not long after entering the eerie forest they realise the blood-curdling pleads for help they can hear are not those of talented actors; they’re the shocking sounds of victims using every ounce of panicked desperation they can muster before taking their last breath. When one is faced with death they will say and do anything to survive. When fate is left in the rusty-saw-filled-hands of an executioner raw humility is all they have left as they cry out in mercy.
To escape the chorus of slaughters taking place around them, each member of the group is forced to make fast decisions. Even when seemingly terrified actors approach them a mist of suspicion filters the air. Trusting people that may want their blood is the biggest decision of their potentially short lives.
