The secret to eternal life is discovered in the form of a serum and a young staff researcher discovers that his bosses plan to sell it to only the super wealthy, so he and fiancée steal the serum with the intention of releasing it to the world for free.

His employers find out and send a security team to hunt them down. They corner them in the Waitakere Ranges and an over zealous thug shoots dead the young researcher. The body, along with the serum, falls into a deep swamp and sinks below the surface before they can reach it.
A savage storm quickly closes in. The security team and the fiancée are forced to take shelter in a nearby DOC cabin. Meanwhile in the swamp; the ferocity of the storm causes the body to roll over. The vial containing the serum is smashed beneath it and it mingles with the water. The young researcher is brought back from the dead with an insatiable hunger and all hell is about to break loose.

They wanted the secret to eternal life... Be careful what you wish for.
