Kamikaze

In 1970, a group of nuclear protesting hippies have their peace loving ideals shredded, when they shipwreck on a rugged Pacific island and are forced into a battle for survival with a savage Japanese soldier still fighting WWII.

A “Jacob Rosevear & Neil Mayo” FILM
WRITTEN BY Jacob Rosevear & Neil Mayo

In 1970, an ambitious young journalist, Lucy, accompanies a group of hippies on a voyage from New Zealand to protest nuclear testing in the Pacific. It’s all drugs and free love. Until the storm.

Lucy comes to and finds that her and the crew have washed up on a remote rugged island. Thankfully they establish radio contact with a nearby ship. All they have to do now is wait a couple of days and ‘she’ll be right’. The drugs and free love return. Until one of them goes missing. Which is never a good sign. Especially when her blood soaked necklace hangs from a bayonet stabbed into a tree.

Live and let live is no longer an option. The troupe soon discover their island is home to a deranged sadistic killing machine, 25 years in the making. This sinister force takes the form of a lone Japanese soldier, still waging World War II. When you've been waiting so long for the enemy to arrive, you might as well make the most of it.

If they want to remain alive to be rescued, Lucy and the hippies are going to have to get up, stand up, and end World War II for good.

It’s World Peace vs World War. Time to take it to the Man.
