Parallel

No means no. When a group of young hotshots decides to use the 'soft no' excuse to attack a Wellington Uni student, they didn't think they would leave her in a coma. Members of their group are suddenly turning up dead, and rumours are spreading of witnesses seeing a pale girl at the scene of the crime who looks disturbingly similar. Hiding from the law and on the run from this mysterious killer, will they survive long enough to figure out if our minds can be at two places at once?

A “Raquel Sims” FILM
WRITTEN BY Daniel Gonzalez

A young Wellington student is raped by three young guys after they've had a few drinks. However, the attack was so brutal that they left the girl in a coma. The three young men go into hiding, fearing the law would come after them, but something much worse is on their tail. Two detectives try to solve the mystery of the girl in a coma and have a list of prime suspects, but things turn sour when one of the boys on the list gets murdered in cold blood. To make things even stranger, the images taken by witnesses reveal that the killer is none other than the girl in the coma herself, or rather a ghastly apparition of herself! Now it's a race against time for the detectives who are trying to get to the last two boys before their killer does. After uncovering some clues, the detectives arrive at the location of the second boy, only to find he has already been slain by the mysterious woman. With each boy that is killed, a personal item that belonged to the boys appears in the hands of the girl in the coma. This starts to shake up the detectives. Finally, the last boy makes his whereabouts known to the police, in fear that the killer will get to him first. When the detectives get there, they find the boy.....and the mysterious woman.
