A “Marama Killen-Hitchcock” FILM
WRITTEN BY Marama Killen-Hitchcock

“Spook” - New Zealand's premiere Haunted House attraction. Every week thousands of visitors descend on the old Mental Hospital site to get their thrills. One night a Zombie is found dead in the Maize. Sam, the Detective in charge of the case, faces the task of interviewing the vampires, werewolves and other various creatures of the night to find out what happened.

When Sam discovers a threat to the life of the beautiful yet elusive Corpse Bride, he realizes the clock is counting down. Sending the “Scarer’s” home for their own safety he begins his search of the house looking for any clues. What he finds is that many of the booby traps designed to scare have now been designed to kill.

Outside the house the Corpse Bride and other bedraggled creatures of the night wait for their rides to home and safety. They are distracted by noises from the shadows and one by one they drop to the ground.

When they wake the Scarer’s find themselves in the “Institution Room”. They are all tied down to the beds. Above them, their friend the Vampire has been strung up by his neck on the rotating fan. To get out alive the group must work together and solve the riddles that have been left out for them.

Will Sam be able to win the fight against the house in time to save the Corpse Bride and the others? Or will the unseen monster of the night devour them all?
