The Horror of Corrans Creek

“Children hide and women weep, for monsters lurk in Corrans Creek. “

The brutal death of a young boy sparks a manhunt in the peaceful and sheltered community of Corrans Creek. It isn’t long before more innocents are slaughtered in similar circumstances leading the investigation to an age-old urban legend that once haunted the area when travellers whispered tales of a malevolent child murderer who would eat his victims.

“Children hide and women weep for monsters lurk in Corrans Creek”.

The rhyme has carried through the years and now in 1943 the words have never been more true and disturbing.

With the tragic death of one of her students, teacher Lara Dulfield, is caught up in the towns panic and tries desperately to understand the motives behind the killings in order to save her students and her fellow towns people. Lara must first confront her own truth before facing the most unspeakable evil.
