The Ponsonby Killer

The Ponsonby killer is about a seasoned detective with a sixth sense, who must solve a series of gruesome murders in order to catch the country’s worst serial killer. The problem is the first murder arrest he made has just been released for wrongful conviction after 17 years in prison.

Joe Cartwright is a detective of 20 years with a special sixth sense. Now he stands to lose everything when his first murder arrest is released for a wrongful conviction. Having already served 17 years in prison, the man is intent on ending Detective Cartwright’s career. With his reputation on the line and his gift called into question, Joe is assigned to a recent but gruesome murder case.
Teamed up with a “detective rookie” Joe sets out to restore his reputation. When everything points to the one man he can no longer touch, Joe learns that his sixth sense is not quite as special as he originally thought. This time he must rely solely on good old detective work to solve the case. A case which turns into a hunt for the worst serial killer the country has ever seen.
Dubbed “The Ponsonby killer”, Joe risks everything to try and stop the city’s tormentor in time to save his career.
