The Van

Fed up with hitchhiking across New Zealand, 4 travellers decide to buy a cheap van to finish the last leg of their trip. It is not until they have broken down, does the truth about the van and what it is capable of becomes clear.

4 travellers have had enough of hitchhiking across New Zealand, so they decided to buy a cheap van for the final leg of the journey. Having purchased it with a warning from the seller to “treat it with respect”, they continue on their way.
Needing to fuel up, they stop and speak to a local petrol station owner. He suggests a shortcut but warns them not to stop. Things start to take a turn when one of the travellers cuts himself on the van while filling up and uses the van to lash out on.
Before long the travellers find themselves broken down with a blown gasket in the back of beyond. They start to encounter time shifts, dimension jumps, unimaginable creatures, despair, insanity and even more things that defy belief. The van has them hostage, but the puzzle is how do they get it to let go and get back home.
